Ryan Letcher - Engineer and CEO Advancing High-Frequency Systems

An accomplished engineer and business owner with a background in RF and microwave systems, Ryan Letcher began his academic studies while serving in the United States Navy, attending Cerro Coso Community College in Ridgecrest, California. He later took courses at Luzerne County Community College, where he also worked as a mathematics and physics tutor. Ryan Letcher earned a bachelor of science in electrical engineering from Pennsylvania State University, where he worked as a teaching and lab assistant in electromagnetics and microwave engineering under Dr. Lynn Carpenter.

Mr. Letcher has held various technical roles in both the government and private sectors. He started his career in the U.S. Navy as an F/A-18 avionics technician, where his responsibilities included radar and electronic warfare systems and flight line operations. After his military service, he worked as an RF engineer for the Department of the Navy and later at Lockheed Martin. He contributed to radar and antenna integration efforts and helped address technical delays in RF production.

Currently, Mr. Letcher serves as the president and CEO of RCL Microwave, Inc., where he is involved in engineering, product development, and business operations. The company develops test fixtures for dielectric material analysis, operating at frequencies up to 300 GHz. RCL Microwave has just completed a 150 GHz dielectric spectroscopy system. Mr. Letcher holds two patents and has filed a third related to fuel efficiency technology for automobiles.
